At El Dorado airport in Bogotá on Monday Oct 20th.

How far is Bogotá from New York?

It is around a 5 hour flight.

When do I need to be paid in full for the retreat?

By the latest Sept 20th.

Do I need to add any days to the retreat?

You can but you don’t have to. It starts on Monday so that people who are interested in enjoying Bogotá can do that for a night or two prior. People can fly into Bogota on the red-eye arriving the 20th and still catch the smaller, local hour-long flight to Armenia, where the retreat officially begins.

No. You don’t need either to travel to this area.

Are there added costs or hidden costs?

The trip to and from Bogotá from the US or wherever you reside is not included. And we require travel insurance for all participants, as a protection for each traveler.

Other than that, you can decide to spend a day or two in Bogotá, so you will need whatever you spend there and the hotel. Also whatever you spend on snacks or knick-knacks in Salento. Wine and beer are not included with meals but we have bottles for purchase.

You can fly in on the red-eye that arrives Monday and still have plenty of time to make the flight to Armenia, the coffee region and not spend any extra money. And you can leave Colombia the afternoon or night of the Sunday we get back, as our flight from Armenia will arrive in Bogota around 12.
