This training will be a back bending sequence training.

We will teach a sequence that focuses on the postures (asana), anatomy, and assisting that all go into creating a safe, efficient, intelligent, and challenging back bending class, we will also go into dharma talks and how to connect yoga philosophy to your physical class.

This training is open to people who are interested in deepening their yoga practice as well as people who are already yoga teachers looking to take their teaching to the next level.

The first weekend will be a retreat weekend upstate at a retreat center which will be an epic time in on its own. This will be followed by 1 weekend a month at OM Namo in Northport. For those in NYC or outside of Northport, you are welcome to spend training weekend nights at the OM Namo, which has many treatment rooms to choose from.

In the last 12 years, Milard has taken his passion for Yoga to new heights, establishing three thriving Yoga studios. Through these sanctuaries of serenity, he has nurtured countless individuals on their own yogic journeys, guiding over 350 aspiring teachers towards their calling.

Central to Milard's evolution as a Yoga practitioner are his esteemed teachers, who have illuminated his path with their wisdom and guidance. Raghunath Cappo, Ana Forrest, Heidi Sormaz, Visvambhar Seth, and Gauravani stand as pillars of inspiration, shaping his understanding of Yoga and Kirtan traditions.

Currently, Milard is the visionary force behind the OM Namo Ji Center for Yogic Studies, a haven for holistic wellness located in Northport. Here, he integrates the healing arts of Japanese acupuncture, moxibustion, and Chinese herbs, offering a holistic approach to well-being. Additionally, he oversees OM Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, seamlessly blending the principles of martial arts with the tranquility of Yoga.

Milard's unwavering commitment to leading teacher training programs reflects his profound sense of purpose, rooted in the ancient concept of dharma.
