ZERO WASTE PERIOD
It takes a tampon longer to degrade than the lifespan of the woman who wears it. And they are clogging up our sewer systems and our oceans. Google Fatberg, or don’t, if you’re squeamish. The average woman throws away 250 to 300 pounds of menstrual trash in her lifetime and it is almost entirely avoidable, not only by a better option that produces almost entirely zero waste and is way more comfortable to wear.
I used my diva cup since the day I discovered it for seventeen years before I stopped getting my period. I recommend it to all my retreats, especially when we go remote places. I clearly didn’t make the cut because they didn’t get back to me.
